Penta Prisms
Penta prisms can deviate an incident beam by 90°without inverting or reversing it. The deviation angle of 90° is independent of any rotation of the prisms about an axis parallel to the line of intersection of the two reflecting faces. Penta prisms are commonly used in plumb level, Surveying, Alignment, Range finding and other Optical Tooling.
